Who we are

Nelson Lopez has spent sixteen years at the intersection of venture capital, startup acceleration and emerging market ecosystems. As CEO of XFounders Accelerator and former Global Head of People and Operations at Gate.io and 1inch, he has built and scaled organisations across conditions that most advisory work never encounters.

His work spans founder development, fund deployment logic, LP relationship strategy and jurisdiction-level investment architecture. He advises funds on how capital actually moves, institutions on what ecosystems need to attract it, and founders on the gap between fundable and merely interesting.

He writes on venture capital, AI sovereignty and innovation policy, and speaks at international forums across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. He is based across Portugal, Bali and El Salvador.
